Sound baths, a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves, are an ancient healing practice with deep roots in cultures across the world. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself. During a sound bath, one would lie on their back for the entire experience, intentionally silenced and still, receiving the healing energy of the sound waves. 

This virtual sound bath will be facilitated by a dear friend of mine, Marinés Rodriguez. A native New Yorker born and raised in the Bronx, Marinés is a Medicine Woman and Ceremonial Space Holder certified in Reiki Healing, Sound Healing, and Transformational Hypnosis. The purpose of this sound bath is to gather digitally, meet ourselves and each other where we are, and center ourselves in stillness amidst the energy of the cleansing Full Moon.
